The idea behind LaPièceParis is simple yet demanding: to combine design, durability and technical expertise.

Today, Ange- an Excelia graduate - is taking this commitment a step further by launching a dedicated offer for corporate gifts, for those who want to combine meaning, elegance and 100% French manufacturing.

From management to creation: a reconversion guided by meaning

Ange trained at Excelia, and on his return to France he naturally turned to a world he was passionate about: the design of outdoor equipment.

After 7 years spent between London and Barcelona, notably in the world of sport and fashion, his return to Paris marked a turning point. He decided to make the most of this international experience to launch an entrepreneurial project rooted in the local area, but with an eye to the future.

He then developed an approach to clothing design in line with his background and market expectations: functional, elegant and sustainable. A wardrobe designed to accompany contemporary lifestyles, between city and nature.
It was this vision that gave birth to La Pièce Paris.

In 2009, he founded La Pièce Paris, a chic sportswear brand. His signature: bags, down jackets and accessories designed to last, with high technicality, urban style and all-French manufacturing. All in an outdoor style born in the city, for the city... and beyond.

Corporate gifts: a demand that has become a strategy

It was the customers themselves who paved the way.

Over the years, companies have come back to Ange with a specific request: to offer business gifts aligned with their values, made in France, durable, useful and elegant.

Meaningful objects, both technical and aesthetic, from the La Pièce Paris collections.

Rather than responding on a case-by-case basis, Ange has structured this activity by recently launching La Piece Entreprise, a website entirely dedicated to corporate gifts. The aim is to clearly address a new target and offer a high-end, responsible and differentiating product range.

La Piece Entreprise has thus become a new source of sales, driven by key accounts in the hotel, healthcare, transport and luxury sectors.

Margins are tight, but the volumes are there, proof that quality, useful design and French manufacturing are finding their way into the marketing and CSR departments of even the biggest companies.

Rare know-how, local production and mastered technical skills

All components are sourced and manufactured in France, in partner workshops sometimes handed down from generation to generation.

An event with Leroy Merlin became the turning point: it all began with a beanie recycled from marine waste, designed to fit in a pocket or under a bicycle helmet. The object appealed for its technicality, utility and clean design.

A few months later, at a Made in France trade show, a representative of a major luxury brand spotted a fanny pack signed La Pièce Paris... and everything accelerated.

Ordering thousands of parts, ramping up production, finding additional workshops, adjusting quality: the project demands adaptability and high standards.

"We've been a force to be reckoned with. We adjusted a model to meet a very specific demand. That's what made in France is all about: the ability to adapt, to innovate, to master every stage."

Certain technical details, such as indelible printing on glass, are virtually impossible to find elsewhere in Western Europe. This level of precision is made possible by the artisanal know-how that LaPièceParis defends and promotes.

A deep commitment to real sustainability

At La Pièce Paris, sustainability isn't a marketing ploy. It's built into the design, the strength of the materials and the production logic.

"You don't choose recycled nylon just because it's recycled. You choose it if it holds up over time. That's true sustainability."

More than a technical wardrobe, Ange defends a manufacturing philosophy. He intends to show that producing locally, in a fair way, without compromising aesthetics or technique, is not only possible, but desirable.

What's next? Deploy, structure, connect

Today, Ange is continuing to develop his business. It is looking to structure its commercial development, in particular to better address key targets in the luxury, insurance, hotel and events sectors.

He's on the lookout for partners, demanding customers... and perhaps some useful connections via the Excelia Alumni network.
